How do I open the inbox view?
Ask your AI to show your inbox: "show me my email" or "what needs me today?". Apps that cannot show views, like Claude Code, get the same rows as a numbered list, and you act on them by number.
In chat, the view starts small so your AI's answer stays in sight: the header, your inbox tabs, and the first 5 rows. Choose Show all to see every row there, or Open full screen. The filters, the checkboxes bar, and the page buttons appear once you do.
What is on the top row?
The top row has All inboxes and a tab for each connected inbox. Paused inboxes are not shown. The header also shows how many messages are unread and how many are from VIPs.
Below it are three sections: Mail, Newsletters (your mailing lists, with Archive all and Unsubscribe…), and VIPs & rules (add or remove VIPs, unblock senders, and set cleanup).
What does each filter show?

| Newsletters | Mail from senders that offer an unsubscribe option. |
| All | Everything in the synced inbox folders, including snoozed mail. |
| Since last check | Shown when your AI opens it: mail since you last finished a triage, or the last two days if you never have. |
Each filter shows a count. Sent mail and drafts are not listed.
Why is an email missing from Needs you?
Needs you leaves some mail out on purpose. Use All to see everything.
- Unread automated or bulk mail older than 7 days.
- Mail from before you connected the inbox, unless it is unread and from a VIP person or from a person writing to you directly.
- VIP mail you already read and answered.
- Snoozed mail, until the snooze ends.
- Mail your AI marked as handled during a daily pass, until someone writes again in that thread.
How does "Today" know my time zone?
Your AI app can send your time zone. If it does not, we use the one your browser reported the last time you visited our website. If neither is known, "Today" means the last 24 hours.
What can I do with an open message?
Select a row to open it. The buttons are:
- Draft a reply: asks your AI in chat to write one and show it to you before anything is sent.
- Archive and Trash: act right away, with Undo. On a VIP message they read Archive… and Trash…, and you confirm a second time.
- Spam…: asks your AI to report it. You approve the report in your app's prompt or on an approval page.
- Star and Label…: Gmail messages only.
- Unsubscribe…: on newsletters. Your AI asks you to approve it.
How do I act on several messages at once?
Tick the boxes on several rows and use the bar that appears: Archive, Trash, or Label… (Gmail, all from one inbox). VIP mail is skipped. Spam is reported one message at a time.
The list shows 25 rows at a time. Use Next, Previous, and Refresh at the bottom. To undo, choose Undo in the message that appears or at the bottom of the list. See Archive, trash, spam, and undo.
Sending, unsubscribing, and spam reports never happen from a click in this view. Your AI asks for them, and you approve each one in the app's prompt or on an approval page.
