How do I connect multiple email accounts to my AI app?
- Create an Inbox Triage account. The trial needs no card.
- On the Inboxes page, add each address and choose Connect. Gmail and Outlook sign in on Google's or Microsoft's own page. iCloud, Yahoo, and AOL take an app password, and other IMAP inboxes a password or app password, on a private form, never in the chat.
- Add Inbox Triage to your AI app once. In Claude, add a custom connector with
https://getinboxtriage.com/mcpand sign in. In ChatGPT, turn on Developer mode (paid plans) and create an app with the same address. In Claude Code, run one command. See the steps for each app. - Ask your AI: "What needs me across all my inboxes today?"

No inbox allows permanent delete or reading Spam or Trash.
How your AI tells the inboxes apart
Each inbox has a label you choose, like "Work Gmail" or "Family iCloud". Ask for one by name ("show me Work Gmail") or for all of them at once. The inbox view has an All inboxes tab and one tab per inbox. Replies are drafted from the inbox the email arrived in.
Sending stays with you
Sending is off until you turn it on. After that, your AI writes the draft, shows you the full email, and it sends only when you approve that exact email in your AI app's own prompt or on our approval page. A yes typed in the chat does not send. See approving a send.

Questions about connecting several inboxes to AI
Can I connect two Gmail accounts to my AI?
Yes. Each Gmail account is its own inbox in Inbox Triage. Sign in to the right Google account for each one, and your AI reaches both through the one connector. See two Gmail accounts in Claude.
Can I connect work and personal email together?
Yes. Mix providers however you like, for example a Microsoft 365 work inbox, a personal Gmail, and an iCloud address. Pro covers up to 10 inboxes.
Does my AI see my email passwords?
No. Gmail and Outlook sign in on Google's or Microsoft's own page. App passwords for iCloud, Yahoo, AOL, and IMAP go into a private Inbox Triage form, are tested, then stored encrypted. Your AI never sees them.
Can my AI send email without asking me?
No. Sending is off by default. When it is on, every email waits for your approval in the app's prompt or on the approval page.
Does it copy my whole mailbox?
No. It keeps about the newest 300 messages per folder (Inbox, Sent, and Drafts by default). Your AI can search older mail on your provider when you ask. Spam and Trash are left out.
How many inboxes can I connect?
Up to 3 on the free trial and up to 10 on Pro. Adding more AI apps costs nothing extra.
