Use Inbox Triage with Claude (desktop and claude.ai)

Yes, Claude can work with your Gmail, Outlook, and iCloud email through Inbox Triage. In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, choose Add custom connector, paste https://getinboxtriage.com/mcp, and choose Connect.

Add the connector

  1. In Claude (the desktop app or claude.ai), open Settings, then Connectors.
  2. Choose Add custom connector.
  3. Paste https://getinboxtriage.com/mcp and choose Connect.
  4. Sign in to Inbox Triage in the browser window that opens, then choose Allow.

Claude's menus change from time to time. If a label looks different, look for the place to add a connector by URL.

What you get in Claude

  • The inbox view. Claude can show your mail as an interactive list with a tab per inbox and filters. See The inbox view.
  • The draft card. Drafts show as a card you can edit and send with a click, once sending is on. See The draft card.
  • Starter prompts such as "Triage today's email". See Starter prompts.

Try it

  • "What needs me in my inbox today?"
  • "Show me my newsletters and which ones I never open."
  • "Archive the shipping notices from this week."

If Claude says it cannot see your email, check that the connector is turned on for the chat. Most apps let you pick which connectors a chat can use.
