Rename, pause, or disconnect an inbox
Open the inbox on Inboxes to rename or disconnect it. On Pro, choose Pause to stop
syncing an inbox without deleting it. Disconnecting deletes the stored sign-in and synced mail.
Rename an inbox
- On Inboxes, choose View messages on the inbox.
- Edit the label next to the inbox name and choose Save.
Pause an inbox (Pro)
A paused inbox keeps its sign-in and synced mail, stops syncing, and is hidden from your AI. It does not use a slot on your plan. You can have up to 2 paused inboxes.
- On Inboxes, choose Pause on the inbox and confirm.
- To bring it back, choose Resume under Paused inboxes. Your plan needs a free slot.
More about switching: Paused inboxes.
Disconnect an inbox
- On Inboxes, choose Disconnect on the inbox.
- Confirm. We delete the stored sign-in or password and the synced mail right away.
Your plan does not change when you disconnect. To pay for fewer inboxes, lower your plan in Settings. Your mail at the provider is not touched.
For Gmail, disconnecting also asks Google to remove Inbox Triage's access. For other providers, you can remove access on their side too. See Remove Inbox Triage from your Google, Microsoft, or Apple account.
